I have a video tape that I must return tomorrow and I have just found out that the
woman who was going to put it on DVD for me cannot make it work with her setup.
There are NO copyright issues involved. The tape is of family stuff and belongs to
a distant relative whom I will see tomorrow at a family funeral. I have never put
anything on DVD before, so I need specific instructions. I have a VCR and a home
computer, but I don't know if the computer has the right stuff to do this or not.
I also have a separate DVD player, but I'm not sure if it records.
I think--I hope--this is probably something that's easy if you know how. If this
turns out to be not something I can do, could Kinko's do it? There's one not too
far out of the way from where I'm going. My relative really wants this tape back
tomorrow.
