[LM_NET] TARGET: Book lists for Middle Schoolers

May I cheat?  I have a teacher who wants a list of books (great books, new books, 
etc.) for middle school students.  She'd like them in specific genres including 
mysteries, fantasies, scary stories, etc. and she'd like them now (or sooner, if 
possible)....(like I have nothing better to do as I'm changing MARC records for 
Destiny?...but I digress in MARC madness....)

I'm asking if anyone has already created book lists for these genres and might be 
willing to share them?  If you send a list of titles, I will review them (if they 
are in a word document) and make changes to reflect what we own so she will be able 
to show the students what they need to look for for reading......but I certainly 
would appreciate the help in getting something to this teacher today.  I don't 
think she realizes how long this process takes (compiling lists, making annotative 
summaries, etc.) and while I've suggested the online book lists, she wants 
something that is "in our library."  

I'm going to search for materials online, compile information from our catalog, and 
try to make something quick, but if anyone has a booklist for middle schoolers, and 
would like to share, I'd appreciate it.

(Once I have these lists compiled --- after Destiny's conversion--- I'll post them 
on our library's website so everyone can use them because I know I'm not the only 
one who gets these last minute requests!)

let you know when our final list goes online.
