I am looking through professional journals for school librarians to determine which ones provide not only reviews of online databases but also provides some good articles that describe how databases are being used, what they contain, and how they might be selected. I have found only a couple that really address these areas consistently (in other words, I've found that a few have an annual "best of databases" column or have additional columns throughout the year on new databases or things that librarians need to know about what is happening with online databases.) What are your favorite choices for journals that contain database "reviews" or where do you find most of your information for selecting online databases if you had to choose one? (Aside from asking LM_NET subscribers?) You may respond to me off-list. I'll post a HIT of the best resources, if others are interested.
