This summer we will be riding the scenic tourist trains in West Virginia and Maryland. When we come to the Elkins area to ride the Tygart Flyer, we need a place to stay (only 2 adults). I was wondering. Has anyone actually been to the Cheat River Lodge? Or should we take the "safe" route and stay at the Super 8? Or, is there a Hampton Inn or a Marriott Courtyard within 50 miles? (I know, my idea of "roughing it" is having no satellite dish in the motel!) Thanks.
