Hi everyone. I am beginning to put together our subscription list for next year and would love to hear what you consider best choices for the high school level for news titles as opposed to entertainment or recreational. My predecessor had not chosen to take any newspaper at all. I am opting to take our local newspaper and one or two others, perhaps Dallas Morning News, New York Times, etc. One teacher mentioned Miami Herald, Chicago Tribune, Atlanta Constitution as possible choices. What would you suggest? Also, we take Time Magazine, Newsweek, and U.S. News and World Report. I've had a request for a new magazine called The Week and for the Weekly Standard. What are your thoughts on how to select a balanced view with these? I'll be glad to post a hit. As always, you're the greatest, and I appreciate your opinions.
