[LM_NET] Mid & Sec: Today show segment on Gossip Girls

On April 18th the Today show will air a segment about the series of
books by Cecily Von Ziegesar called Gossip Girl, which includes an
interview with YALSA president Pam Spencer Holley--so be sure to tune
in!  It should air around 8:15 AM, EST.  

In conjunction with this interview, YALSA's Booklist Taskforce has
created a short list of recommended reading for teens who've read the
series and are looking for "what's next."  The list is accessible from:

You may also recall that the first book in this series was a 2003
selection for YALSA's Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers Top
10 list.
