Thank you to everyone who responded to my question regarding the value of the cross stitch piece that I was looking to barter. I had so many responses I couldn't respond to everyone personally but I did read all e-mails that I received and gathered much information. Thank you Dan Robinson (I did respond to your e-mail but it bounced back to me) for suggesting $0.01 a stitch which is the going rate for model stitchers. This is what I proposed to the stylist looking to barter which she accepted. Many responded that people who stitch, quilt or do other handcrafts undervalue their work, which I completely agree with. We certainly can't charge by the hour (which in this case would be about $1.00/hour)! I've decided no more bartering - I'm just going to make projects and give them away - it's a whole lot less stressful. Anyhow, I love my new cut and color so it all worked out in the end! Thanks again, everyone.
