We don't bind ours. We happen to have space to shelve them all so they're
accessible to students; ours go back to 1953. I buy the annual indices to
them and the students use them quite a bit, especially when researching
anything to do with the environment, ecology, different cultures, etc. Since
your earlier ones are bound, it might be nice to bind all of them, just for
uniformity and ease of storage.

Was wondering how many of you get your National Geographic magazines bound
together by year? I have a collection back to the year 1966; previous
librarian did this annually, but I have not since taking this library
position about 5 years ago. Should I get them bound? Recycle? Sell?
