Hello Creative ones, Thankfully our library has received a nonrestricted gift of just over a thousand dollars. My assistant and I have decided to overhaul, improve, and enhance our elementary story area. What are the best features you have? We currently have a small semi-closed space. We're thinking of purchasing a bookworm rug, one of the nice easel teaching centers, and possibly a lamp. What else should we consider? We have an art student who's going to paint a simple wooden chair. Any ideas on where to find a nice book-themed lamp? Or ideas on how to design a lamp that could be made? I read through the archives and got some ideas, but I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance. -- Diane Averett/Librarian Kerr-Vance Academy 700 Vance Academy Rd.
