LM_NET Archive

For those who have converted their holdings from Circ / Cat Plus to Destiny, if you 
had Follett provide the "clean up" of your records, did you find any specific areas 
that were wiped clean of information that was either incorrect (wrong field) or 
perhaps local information (outside of the 900 field)?

Also, were your call numbers affected at all by the change?  For example, we have 
call numbers listed as:


The E (easy book); the ABE (first three letters of author's last name); and the LS 
stands for the Lower School Library.

The same is true of our video tapes which will be listed as:


(Fiction) (Author's Name) (Video Cassette Tape)

And our Reference "prefix"  is also at the end of the call number....

All of our "prefixes" for the call numbers are at the end (thus making them 
suffixes???).  I'm wondering if any specific "clean up" by Follett will wipe those 
out, since we don't have any location information within the MARC record or in any 
category within the circulation system.
