Hi Everyone,

Well I am looking to put together another bibliography. And here is
the brief. I have fifth and sixth graders who participate in an event
called the "Book Banquet." For the first course they must perform,
preferable something they have written but not necessarily. In years
past we have done poetry or readers' theater.

This year we want to do humor. I am thinking something along the lines
of a comic act but funny passages from books, limericks, jokes or poems
would be fine. I want to provide the students with as much reading
material as possible to get them inspired.

Here is the reading material I have so far. Any ideas on material or
how to inspire would be of great help.

Andy Grifith's books
Roald Dahl poems and stories
Wayside School books
Amelia Bedelia
Jack Prelutsky
Jack Gantos

Thanks for your time,
