This was forwarded to me from my local public library listserv. Does anyone know this book? Jan Davies, Library Media Specialist Laurel High School Laurel, Maryland A customer was in Sat. asking for help locating a children's novel she read as a child in the mid 70s. What she remembers of the story - Girl discovers, in the woods behind her backyard, a tree inhabited by many different animals. The animals speak with her. The book was given to her by a friend returning from Australia. She thinks the book was Australian or possibly British. She has searched for this "wind in the willows-like" book for over 10 years. --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls.
