    Dear Netters,
A 9th grade English teacher asked for ideas for informational research topics for
her students following the reading of Alas, Babylon. I have a few ideas and will
search for more; however, I thought I'd ask if anyone else already has some ideas
or has read this novel since I did in high school. I assume topics dealing with
nuclear war, radiation, etc. would be good. The students are a low acheiveing group
who will attempt a 5 paragraph paper. Thanks for any help and I'll be glad to post
a hit if there is any interest.
Thanks.
