Hi Elementary School Librarians, I know many of you have authors visit your library and present a program to students. But do any of you have other guest speakers come in to do a program that will promote reading though the speaker may not be an author? If so then what is the most important ingredient to a successful library assembly? What has to happen in order for you to feel it was worth your time to have your students see this assembly? I appreciate any thoughts you are willing to share on this subject. Many thanks in advance, Nancy Shugart Retired Elementary School Teacher Austin, Texas -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
