Susan, This email bounced back two times from your
address so I will post to the listserv

I don't know if anyone else suggested it but
Marion Blumenthal Lazan's book Four Perfect Pebbles is
very good and she travels all over to talk to school
groups. She is a Holocaust survivor and has made it
her mission to educate as many children as possible
about the Holocaust.
I highly recommend having her come to your
school if you are able to schedule it and afford it.
We partnered with the local University and other
school districts throughout the state to keep the
costs to a minimum. I don't remember the exact cost
but you can get all the information at
fourperfectpebbles.com I have had her
and her husband (they travel together) at my school
two times and recommended her to my old school in
Utah. They loved her and will also give a great
recommendation.

She will truly become your friend when she comes.
Your students will love her.
She will periodically call me just to say hello. If
you get in touch with her, and she will definitely
answer your emails, please tell her Debbie Boutwell
from Oxford, Mississippi suggested you contact her.
You won't be sorry. Also if you have her come
Scholasticwill send you her paperback books at a big
discount(around $3) and she will autograph all of them
or provide bookplates to any you sell to students.
Good
luck on your project.
