I would like to ask if anyone has a memo you send out to your teachers about closing the library down the week before school is out. I am looking for a memo that explains the process of closing a library down in order to get it ready for the next school year and includes the importance of making sure all books are returned before the end of the school year. I am thinking about closing the school library down to the study hall students the week before school is out unless of course the student has a project he/she will need to finish in the library. At this time, the library will still be open to the teachers who would like to bring classes into the library etc. This week of not having students from study hall to monitor will allow me to shelve the books that will be coming in during the last month of school and also give me time to work on getting the books back on the shelf. Do you have any suggestions or a memo that better explains the reasoning behind this time period of preparing the library for the next school year?
