I have been reading professional materials since the beginning of my career and I
was wondering what two or three books impacted your professional career the most --
something that really influenced you...I would love to see your choices.. and if
there is interest -- I will post a hit.

I have two books that I go back to over and over again -- even since I have moved
to the district office.

  They are:
  1. Communicate! A Librarians' Guide to Interpersonal Relations. Anne J. Mathews.
ALA. 1983.

  2. Have you got what they want? Public relations strategies for the School
Librarian/Media Specialist: a workbook. Rita Kohn and Jrysta A. Tepper. Scarecrow,
1982.

I do have many newer titles that are good but nothng for me like these two
titles...

I always share Communicate! with any new media specialists that come to the
district.

Looking forward to seeing what inspired others.

  Thanks
  Paula
