LM_NET Archive

Greetings,

I am interested in hearing from librarians who work in Montessori
schools about their library programs. I have searched the LM_NET
archives and searched for documents on the web, but have not found
anything substantial on Montessori philosophy and school libraries. I
am curious how the philosophy is or is not incorporated into the
library. What does a library program in a Montessori school look like?
How do you collaborate with the teachers? Do you use flexible or set
schedules?

I am a Library Media Specialist in a Montessori school, but come from a
public school background.

Thank you in advance for your help.
