[LM_NET] Target: "developing bodies" book

I have a friend who is in a mother/daughter reading group and they are looking for
a "developing bodies" novel. All I could think of was the ultra classic
"Are You There God It's Me Margaret" by Judy Blume. My California list
serve colleagues are coming up with the same thing. Surely there is something with
the same poignancy and pre-teen interest that has come out more recently?

Any thoughts? I will gladly post a hit.
