Our school is doing a major Native American Project that is being headed up by the art department. Currently, the 4th and 5th grades are researching symbols of the Native Americans. The art teacher has asked if they can research the symbols during their library time. I have been able to come up with some websites that show symbols and their meanings but unfortunately some of the symbols the kids have picked are out of the ordinary. I was hoping that someone out there knows of a good website that would have a pictures of Native American symbols as well as their meanings or origin.
