Dear Colleagues,

I have a young friend (see below) who is interested in moving to NH, VT,
ME, RI or Milwaukee, WI to teach High School English. I am attaching a
note from her with the hope that if any of you know of job openings in your
district you might give Kelly a heads-up. She's a wonderful person, as
well as a dedicated and mature new teacher. I told her if ANYONE knew of
jobs out there, you all would!

Thanks,
Toni

I am searching for a secondary teaching position in English for fall of
2006. I will earn a Master of Arts in education in May and my secondary
provisional teaching certificate in August from the University of Michigan.
I am certified to teach both English and history.

After seven years as an acquisitions editor in the field of nonprofit
publishing, I realized it was time to pursue my true passion: teaching. I
am completing a rigorous one year Master's degree program at Michigan
(<http://www.soe.umich.edu/macsecondary/index.html>Secondary MAC program).
I am currently student teaching at Western Internal High School in inner
city Detroit where I have full responsibility for two classes of junior
level American Literature for the entire semester. I have logged over 1,000
hours in the classroom. Please feel free to email me for information on my
teaching philosophy, resume, or questions.

Thanks for your time,
Kelly Dennis
