[LM_NET] TAR: LCD Projector

Dear LM_Net Colleagues:

I am trying to assist my husband in finding a user-friendly LCD  
projector for our church. My county school system recommended the  
following (in Sept 2005):
Mitsubishi SL4SU 970.00
Mitsubishi XL8U 1,640.00
I have used both and they are very nice as well as user-friendly  
(compared to the original one that my school had purchased). The  
committee chair (at my church) seems to think that there may be  
cheaper LCD projectors out there (around $800.00) that would work  
just as well. I have not purchased a LCD projector for school other  
than by using the bid list so am turning to you for advice. If you  
would have a recommendation for a specific brand (any reasonable  
price) or a recommendation in tthe $700.00-$800.00 price range,  
please reply to me personally at either of my e-mail addresses.

I will save the info in case anyone would like a HIT posted at a  
later date.
