Why not find a local Lions Club, Kiwanis, or Optimist Club and ask its members to help you promote the library? If each member donates $1.00 for a Bucks for Books campaign, you may have more money than you ever dreamed of. You could also ask a fraternal org. like Shriners or Masons to help. I'm sure most members would challenge others to donate more than $1.00. You could invite the members to the library for a "Meet and Greet" with your principal. How about throwing in free hot dogs and sodas (maybe not in the library), and the members could bring their families. Good luck, Pamela Thompson, MLS Library Media Specialist Col. John O.
