[LM_NET] TARGET: What's Your Budget

I know the answers will vary tremendously, but I'd love to hear from some  of 
you about how much budget money you are given per year.
 
I am a new Media Specialist at a K-8 school of approximately 650 students.  
This is a 3 year old school and they spent $30,000 on books at the end of  last 
year. So the collection is at about 10 books per student now.
 
It looks like I will make a couple of thousand a year on book fairs.   I'd 
just like to have some idea of how much I should be fighting for.  This  year I 
got no budget money.
