Our 2d grade does a big Cinderella unit comparing and contrasting the
various versions of the story from all around the world. This is
apparently stealing the thunder of our 4th grade, which has this as a
mandatory standard. We don't really want to rob the 2d grade of their
well-refined and age-appropriate unit, so we'd like to begin using a
completely different fairy tale. Does anyone have a suggestion? Of
course, I'd appreciate the titles of various versions of whichever fairy
tale you use yourself. Thank you for your help. Please response to me
off the list.
