Can anyone help me locate a poem for our drama teacher? The poem is "The Art of Teaching" by Joshua Sands. I have not been able to locate it. Also, I'm amazed that current English teachers have not heard of Thoreau. In the last two days I've had two young English teachers going through our study guides and both asked me about "The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail". Both mis-pronounced his name and both said they never had heard of him. It seems like when I was in college, (many moons ago) we studied him extensively. TIA!
