Date: June 8, 2006 Time: 8:30-3:30pm Location: North Elementary School 440 N. 10th Street Noblesville, Indiana 46060 Featured Speaker: Dr. Gary Hartzell Professor Emeritus of Educational Administration University of Nebraska at Omaha. After serving as a high school teacher, assistant principal, and principal in California, Dr. Hartzell completed his doctorate at UCLA in 1990 and joined the educational administration\faculty at UNOmaha. His research interests center on schools as workplaces for adults, with particular attention to workplace relationships. In the last few years, he has especially concentrated on the roles and relationships among school librarians and their colleagues. We invite administrators and library media specialists to spend the day jointly exploring ways to develop and strengthen the library media program as an integral part of the school that impacts student achievement!
