Hello! The teacher who will be covering our "Media/Lit" class next year has proposed using "In Cold Blood" to our curriculum director. The Curriculum Director has asked me if I felt it was appropriate for a senior only class. I do not have any first hand experince with either the book or the movie as I have not read it nor have I seen the movie. (sheltered life?) :-) My question concerns both the movie (1967) version, as well as the book, "In cold blood" by Truman Capote: Does anyone have experience teaching/using "In cold bood" at their school? Professional opinions and comments welcome as well, even if you haven't seen the title used, but think that this may or may not be appropriate for use in class. Thanks for your time, Jackie **************************************** JACKIE YAMBERT DISTRICT LIBRARIAN MARGARETTA HIGH SCHOOL CASTALIA, OHIO 44824 Phone: 419-684-5351 E-Mail: jyambert@margaretta.k12.oh.us FAX: 419-684-5632 **************************************** -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
