[LM_NET] Do you know this book?

A student has requested a book I don't think I've ever read.  Someone read
it to her in elementary school, so I know it was first published 10 or more
years ago.  It is about a little girl who finds a seed outside, plants it,
and produces a flower and then a garden.  She continues to do this until she
has several large gardens with fruits, vegetables, etc.  The book explains
how she cares for the garden, waters it, etc.  It has a message of
responsibility throughout.
