[LM_NET] GEN: When to reply to the entire LM_NET group

Hello LM_NET Colleagues,

In an effort to keep a balance between being swamped with messages to our
members, and only using Target/Hits, we offer the following. Please read,
so that you won't think I am picking on you personally. ;-)

LM_NET is NOT a newsgroup, where people reply to each other routinely
posting to the group. We ask that members respond mainly to individuals in
order to keep the flow of messages to a reasonable level. Of course, there
are times when it is appropriate to post to the whole group.

From our LM_NET Etiquette Statement: Never post a message to the group
which would not be of interest to thousands of people.

Please let me know if you need help in responding to LM_NET messages
directly to the sender.  I will be happy to put you in contact with
someone who will be able to assist you.
