At the time of his death Cay Christopher told me that he had written
so many books ahead that they could be published for a dozen or more
years before Little, Brown runs out of books that he wrote. So he
may not have responded to copy-edited queries but he did probably
write the majority of those that have been published in the past few
years. Now though I do see another author's name on the more recent
books. Since his son has written a biography of his father and is
very actively soliciting author visits I am curious as to why he is
not THE author writing in the "Matt Christopher" series - -I surmise
these are the ones that Matt only had "notes and outline proposals"
at LB. On the son's website there is no mention of the books being
written with MATT CHRISTOPHER's name on the jacket but not as author.

Interesting!
