The intention of the portfolio is to demonstrate lessons
designed to impact student learning. There is no intention
to take credit for the illustrations.
If the teacher were to mask existing text in a book(s) and
give students the assignment of writing text/stories to
support the illustrations, using the masked book(s) rather
than copies, would that be a copyright violation?
