[LM_NET] First week for 5th/6th

Back to school!  I have great picture books to use with my younger grades but what 
works well for you with your older students (5th and 6th grade) for that first 
meeting.  We are fixed sched. 30 minute sessions but we do not check out the first 
week because we are still adjusting classes and cards and such.  Last year I did an 
intro of me because I was new there but now they all know me!  I assume I will use 
some of this time to introduce/ remind of rules but I would rather save book care 
stuff for another lesson.  I would appreciate any ideas.  TIA!
