Hi, all. I'm racking my brain trying to remember the title and author of a book
about a young girl in Africa (?) whose life is devastated by HIV. Her mother is
infected by one of a series of husbands, the book mentions the distribution of
condoms from women's clinics, one of the stepfathers is an alcoholic, another
character is a young girl who turns to prostitution, and for some reason I remember
someone falling down an abandoned well. I just can't get a grasp of the whole plot
line.
If you have ANY idea what I'm talking about, could you please put me out of my
misery and email me directly? Thanks in advance!
