[LM_NET] TAR: Library club?

Hi all, 
 
I suggested doing a library club at my 7-12 school next year, and now it is a 
reality. Only thing is I am stumped for ideas that span the year aside from writing 
reviews of new fiction and creating a library newsletter... then there are library 
tasks like shelving and such, but that is limited. We'll meet every 3 weeks or so 
for 45 minutes. Anyone have a club like this and can you give suggestions for 
activities? Oh, also thought about doing read-alouds at the nearby PL.
