I have a shelving/organization question. I am starting my second year in a K-5 LMC. One of my goals this year was to separate the ER from picture books and fiction shelves. I started the task but quickly got bogged down trying to decide what books really belonged there. I have some series like Little Bill, Henry and Mudge (and Henry and Mudge Puppy Days), Marshall's Fox Series, The Golly Sisters, etc. I decided against putting Cam Jansen and Horrible Harry because they seemed more difficult reads. Does anyone have a hard and fast rule for what constitutes an "easy reader?" ? As always, thank you in advance for your collective wisdom. Christine Ciofolo Library Media Specialist Post Rd.
