[LM_NET] ELEM: Ideas for Johnny Appleseed unit

Johnny Appleseed's birthday is Sept. 26.  I've always wanted to do a focus on him, 
but I've never done a thematic unit on him before in the library.  I would like to 
do one the week of the 26th since we have three early release days and a planning 
day.  Have any of you done a great Johnny Appleseed activity or set of activities 
you would share?  Also, any book recommendations?  I have a few and just did a book 
search on Bound to Stay Bound's website...but don't think they had any I do not 
currently have.
