We have an online system to sign up from any Internet access for either
the computer labs or the library slots. Each teacher has a password,
they then can go look at the schedule and see if their days are
available.

Occasionally we still do not have enough space for use; those teachers
will then go ask the other teachers if squeezing is possible. Because
both labs attach to the library, the extra class comes there, and then
fills into any available computers in either lab.

My teachers love the convenience of the system, and know right away if
what they are planning will work.

It is a homemade program, I designed it, and my webpage guy made it work
using cold fusion or something of the sort.

That's what I've done for several years now, and it really works. In
fact, my teachers will go directly to each other to work out conflicts.
