Hi all.
I had a god chunk of my book money taken from my budget (more than a 3rd) to
buy educational software and to pay for licensing. To put it mildly this
does not make me happy. I was wondering who else pays for this out of their
book budget, what percentage, what kinds of software, etc... We have a tech
integration position here and I feel she is better qualified to make these
purchases and I also feel that if the district has decided to make them then
maybe it should be with new money, not my book money. I am meeting with my
assistant superintendent tomorrow so I'll have a better idea of how much
control I really have in how this money gets spent. Any thoughts would be
helpful.
