There was a Time Magazine article a while back that addressed concerns of
youth multitasking.
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1174696-1,00.html

In this article it addresses concerns of college professors regarding the
lack of ability of incoming students to focus in depth on subjects. Today's
college students were not using the Internet at all as much at today's
middle school students.

This is a growing concern of mine.
