[LM_NET] TECH: Using a TV as a projector

Good morning brain trust,
A teacher asked me if I could troubleshoot his laptop hooked to tv
setup.  The image displays for a moment as the computer boots up, and
then as soon as booting up has finished, the image reverts to snow.  Any
ideas?  I've  no experience with this at all.  Thanks!
