[LM_NET] TARGET: SEC: NON AMERICAN AUTHORS AND BOOKS

I have a 12th grade English teacher who is teaching the lower level classes for the 
first time.  We are looking for some great world authors who write books that can 
be read by students reading several years below grade level but at the high school 
interest level.  If anyone can suggest some books and authors I would greatly 
appreciate it.  They normally do literature analysis with the AP and Honors 
classes.  I suggested using book reviews these books would not have literary 
analysis.  Any other suggestions would be helpful.  I will post a hit.
