I'm still hip high in automation clutter, I'm nowhere near done (maybe 1/3 finished) and orientation is next week - pray for me... Meanwhile, I've bar-coded a number of paperback books that I know I'll be replacing in the next few years. When I do, should I try to use the same barcode number for the replacement (and if so, how?), should I assign a new number and toss the old, or should I do something else that hasn't occurred to me yet? (Yes, tearing my hair out has already occurred to me...)
