On page 25 of the July issue of School Library Journal, Carrie Russell, in her copyright column, states that, "People are often surprised to learn that rental and individually owned copies of videos and DVD's can be shown in their entirety in the classroom.". Since we pay a movie license fee every year to comply with possible copyright infringement, I was wondering if anyone else had a good or bad copyright experience to share that might indicate the legal ramifications of not paying a license fee?
