Hello I am the new librarian here, and I have a question I'd like to bounce off of everyone. In the past, when students miss class on a day when a video is shown, a copy of the video has been made for them to watch at home. This copy is then destroyed so it won't float around. This was done because students are not allowed to check out AV materials. My gut tells me this is not allowed, but I was asked about it and someone even asked if this falls under "Educational Fair Use" - I find this whole thing very confusing, so I wanted to get other librarians' opinion on this. I'll post a hit! Thanks, Rachel Barrett Library Media Center Duxbury High School 130 Saint George Street Duxbury, MA 02332 rbarrett@cloverset.org -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
