Hi, I had a request from our school counselor who is looking for a book to give to one of our fourth grade students who has been acting angry with her siblings at home. The counselor wanted a book that would explain how one's self esteem effects how we treat others. It could be a picture book or a chapter book on about a 3rd or 4th grade level. I'm drawing a blank. I can find books that talk about self esteem, but not respecting others. Or books that talk about respecting others, but not about self esteem. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Kathy Marceski Teacher Librarian Van Holten School Bridgewater, NJ Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.
