[LM_NET] TARGET: tv cartoon charater of the early sixties NJ

I am trying to get some help to figure out the name of a TV cartoon show my 
husband, who is originally from India, saw when he lived in New Jersey while his 
father worked at ETS about 1960-62.  He remembers a little song about an Indian boy 
(obviously Native American) but since he was a little Indian boy he still cherishes 
the memory.  I don't have any memory of it but I lived in upstate NY at the time.  
It went something like "something, something little Indian boy.  Loved all the 
animals in the wood"  After I saw a response to the story from the fifties I 
thought I would give this a try.
