I was sent a card from the publisher stating that Teen People would no longer be published and that they would be sending IN STYLE in its place. I would have the opportunity to review the new magazine and if I was not satisfied they provided a toll free number for me to call to request a refund. Mindy Doler Media Specialist North Oconee High School Bogart,GA mdoler@oconee.k12.ga.us -----Original Message----- From: School Library Media & Network Communications [mailto:LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU] On Behalf Of Kelly Stern Sent: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 11:16 AM To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU Subject: [LM_NET] Gen: EBSCO not issuing refunds for Teen People? Our library was informed in writing that EBSCO does not intend to issue us a refund for Teen People, which was discontinued with the September 2006 issue. Has anyone else been told this by EBSCO? It seems to me that to refuse to issue a refund for a product purchased but not delivered is not only unethical--it is illegal. If they are counting on our not thinking it's worth the time to pursue, I'm extremely disappointed. Has anyone else been told the same thing by them? I'm curious...
