[LM_NET] OT:MAKING DVD AS GIFT:SPECIAL PROGRAM?

Happy Holidays!

 

My husband had a terrific idea that's lost its way. He interviewed his
mom and typed it all out. He has pictures and even some genealogy
records. He wants me to put it on a DVD so people can put it in their
TV's and play it.  They would see pictures and read what mom said. No
sound as of yet. My question/concern is: don't I need a software program
to put it on the DVD so it has a menu at the beginning? And so you can
push play and it will? Could someone please explain this to me and
explain how to do it? It all has to be done by Sunday and I have to burn
20 copies of it! Agh!!! And yes, we are still in school!
