I think it's because when we are working, we are too busy to notice if
we are a little sick, but once we have time off we let our guard
down...and WHAMO! It hits us. 

I feel for you, Steve. I did the yearbook once and said "Never again!"
It was a hell year. Hang in there. :-)

Hope you are recovering now, Steve. I think that you are not alone.  I
know
that I often moan that I am sick in the holidays.  My husband almost
always
was sick over Christmas. We thought it happened when there was a let-up
at
work.  I spent 28 days in bed with only the flu to keep me company when
I
had 3 weeks off for the 2000 Olympic games.  I managed for first few
days,
then had the worst bout ever.  I can only remember 1 full-on bout of flu
that was NOT in the holidays in the past 10 years.

Are we alone in this?
